Sometimes You Just Have to Dance!

Sometimes the music moves you, and you just have to dance, even if you're not the star of the show!  I hope you enjoy this video.  It made me smile.

Mountain Mama from the blog Into the Wild Blue Yonder makes me smile too.  She writes a wonderful blog full of pictures of the beauty she finds around her in her home in North Carolina and stories of her life there with her husband and her adorable little boy.  She has passed this blog award on to me.

Thank you, Jenn!  I appreciate you thinking of me.  There are rules I'm supposed to follow in receiving this award, but, to be honest, I rarely follow such rules.  I would like to pass this award on to anyone who is reading this who would like to take it and pass it on to someone else.  That's what it is all about, after all, isn't it?  The whole point is to share it with another, so I'm not going to share it with just a few.  I'm sharing it with anyone and everyone.

Life is short, my friends.  Remember to dance whenever you can.

Love the background kid stealing the show, brilliant. I'd get up and have a little jig myself but I'd only end up pulling a muscle. Hope your enjoying the sun Daisy.

Mildred, he had energy to spare, didn't he! :D

Thank you, Ryan. I am enjoying the sun! Should be another beautiful day here. Pretty enough to feel like dancing. :)

Oh Heaven's to Betsy, too much energy for me, I'm afraid!
:) But I agree...dance while you can.
How is Aaron?
I truly think your blog is deserving of the award; good job! I'll check out the webiste of the friend in NC...it's always fun to meet NC people.
Have a great weekend Daisy!

Thank you, Tracy. :-)

Aaron had a second surgery yesterday for the reconstruction/repair to his face. He has 2 mesh plates in his forehead and 3 metal plates in his jaw/eyesocket. He had the surgery on his hip and pelvis prior to that. He is doing OK so far, but he has a long road of recovery ahead of him. He will need to be immobile for at least three months to give him time to heal.

I hope you have a nice weekend too!

You're welcome, Betty. :)

It's true. Sometimes the music just makes you move. I hope you have a nice weekend!

Awww, Daisy this is to funny. You're right, we should all dance every time we get the chance.

Thank you for the nice comments on mine. I love those old hymns too... Susie.

Thank you, Susie. If only we could all get so much happiness from something so simple as dancing. He looked like he was having a blast! :)

Oh my gosh, that little guy really has his groove movin'! Adorable!
Also, how is Aaron? What a horrible accident. He's in my thoughts.

Daisy said...

Thank you, Becky. I think he is doing as well as can be expected. He came through the necessary very extensive surgeries very well from what I've heard. He's got a long way ahead of him until he's recovered, but he was talking some and even joking a little yesterday from what my son's girlfriend told me. Also, she told me yesterday that he saved the lives of three of his coworkers during the accident, taking the brunt of what happened upon himself. From what she said it was a brave and selfless thing that he did to save the others and put himself in harm's way instead.

Congratz! That boy 'stole' the thunder haha. Gotta learn from kids dance like nobody is watching..

Daisy said...

Yes, it has been good news so far, Becky. :)

Bananaz, yes! I don't think he cared who was watching at all. He was feeling that music and having fun! :)

Very cute Daisy - both the video and the little guy dancing. Also could you send some of the rain you talked about in an earlier post cause we really need some here on the VA eastern shore. Thanks!

Daisy said...

I wish I could help you, Beatrice. We're fresh out of rain here at the moment. We have had two or three hot days in a row without rain now. If we get any more extra, I'll try to steer it your way, though. ;)

that kid is so cool - did that teacher try to stop him I couldn't tell, but I thought at the end I saw her hand on him...she better not!! ha.

Sandy said...

and I just read about Aaron - ...whew, a lot of surgery and I pray he recovers fully

Daisy said...

Sandy, I thought she tried to stop him, but I couldn't really tell for sure. I hope she didn't.

Aaron is doing much better than was at first expected. He has been moved to a rehabilitation center for now.
