My Boys and Their Girls

It's late, and I don't have time to write much tonight, but I thought I'd share a few pictures of my boys and their girls.

My older son is home again now, but he has been away on a short vacation.  He was visiting his girlfriend and her family who live in New Jersey.  I haven't yet met this girl except to talk to her through Skype.  She seems very sweet.  I do know she makes my son very happy which is all I need to know.

They took short trips to New York and to Pennsylvania together while he was there.  Here are a few pictures they shared with me.

in front of New York Public Library (I think they took this picture for me.)

I thought this one was very sweet.

These last two taken at a toy store made me laugh.

My other son's girlfriend graduated from high school this past weekend.  We went to the ceremony and then to her graduation party afterwards.  She graduated with honors and was in the top 10 percent of her class.  I felt as proud of her as if she were my own.

She is standing in front with the others in the top ten percent of the class here in this picture.

Because her mom is employed by the schools, she was the one to hand her daughter her diploma.

Daisy, you are one of the very first bloggers I met three years ago and I have grown to know and admire your sons very much. Thank you for sharing these happy photos of them with their girls. They both are lovely couples and I enjoyed the pictures so very much.

Handsome and Beautiful, all. And smart -- top 10%

Sweet, sweet, sweet.

My only resentment is you will probably get to have grand-kids before I do. :) :) :)

Lovely post, and I love the school colors, very vibrant.

Wonderful pictures! Both of your sons are very handsome and their girlfriends look like very sweet girls. I love that you said all you care about is that the girlfriend makes your son happy. That is a wonderful way of thinking!

Hope you're having a great day! :)

Jannie, I am not in a real big hurry to be a grandma, yet. HAHA! :D

Thank you all for your kind words. I hope you are having a great day!

Daisy, when I read that your older son's girlfriend lives in NJ, I wondered Where? since both Grenville and I were born and lived in various parts of the tate - small world indeed. Lovely post and photos of nice young couples.

Just what we moms wish for our sons; someone to share life's joyful moments with. Nice!

Daisy said...

Beatrice, she is from Ewing, New Jersey. Yes, it is a small world! :)

Bananaz, you're right, they are young men now not boys, but they will always be "my" boys, I think. :D

Diana, yes indeed! They both seem very happy and that makes me happy too. :)

Great pictures! Yep, as long as she makes him happy, that is what counts.
How cool is that to be able to hand your daughter her diploma. What a great memory!

Daisy said...

Thank you, Susan. I thought that was cool too. There were several teachers and other employees of the school who got to hand their son or daughter their diploma that day. :)
