A Little Snow, a Little Giggle, and a Little Dance

We've had snow off and on most of this week. We haven't had a lot at any given time.  Most of it seems to melt off in the afternoon, only to get another inch or so overnight again.  I'm posting some snow pictures, not because there is anything spectacular about it, but because I promised my friend Nensa who lives in Indonesia that I would post some snow pictures for her.  So Nensa, these pictures are for you.  It was early morning when I took these shots. The sun was just rising, so the snow still looks pretty blue.

This black squirrel didn't like me taking his picture and ran up the tree when I took the next step closer.

This was taken while looking out from my front door across the street.  The snow plow didn't come down our street today.  We didn't get enough snow to warrant it.  I see my neighbor over there has shoveled his driveway though.  We didn't shovel ours.  We just drove through it.  It was only a couple of inches at most.

I went to the library staff Christmas party last night, but I'm going to wait and blog about that in my next post.  For right now, it is Friday night, and I think we ought to be dancing!!  That's one way to stay warm.

So here's a dance video that might just give you a little giggle.  It did me, so maybe you'll like it too.  Have a good weekend, everyone!

Hi Daisy, I'm sure that Nensa will love seeing your snow--and so do I..... That's just enough to be pretty. We've had a tiny bit --but they say we may get more the next several days.

Cute video... I always loved Laurel and Hardy. They make me smile.

Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy

Betsy, I like to see some of the old comedy acts once in a while. Some of them can really make me laugh.

I think we're expecting a snowstorm to come through here over the weekend too. I guess we will see what comes! Hope you have a great weekend! :)

Shame, the video doesn't work over here!
I've looked out the window this morning to see that most of the snow has gone. I think we'll find the river even higher now. Our usual morning walk is under water at the moment.
Have a great weekend.

Hi Daisy, Very pretty snow pictures; I love the blue tone of the early morning. Cute video too. Just a matter of time, until you get those giant icicles that fascinate me so!
John and I saw a street named Buckeye yesterday!!!!!

Hi Lynne! Sorry to hear the video won't play there. It is just a video of Laurel and Hardy dancing, but there is a modern day song dubbed in so that it looks like they are dancing to it. That's too bad your place to walk is under water. I hope it dries out for you soon! Have a great weekend!

Good morning, Mildred! I know you like to see our icicles, but I'm in no hurry for them to get here!! HA HA! A street named Buckeye? Tell John that it sounds like a winner! ;-)

Love seeing your snow (since we probably won't be having any) and your black squirrel (since we don't have those either)! That's a cute video and a good way to start my day.

Good morning, Dorothy. I often forget that other people don't have those black squirrels. They are everywhere here! We are due to get more snow tomorrow. The weatherman is predicting several inches. Tis the season, I suppose! :) Hope you have a great weekend!

Love your snow pictures Daisy! Looks like you have as much as we do in Northern Michigan. Loved the laurel & hardy dance - i remember watching them on the weekends when I was a kid.

Hi Shelley! I remember watching the old Laurel and Hardy movies on TV when I was a kid. A little bit of silliness does me good once in a while. :)

Hi Sandy! That video is a fun mix of old and new, I think.

We still have snow here. It has been so consistently cold here that I don't think much of it has melted off. It looks like it is going to be a long winter.
