Luckily for me, though, he left the camera behind for this trip. He will be too busy golfing to have time to take any pictures.
That made it possible for me to take this picture of the first bloom on my morning glories which appeared today.
(The half eaten leaf below the bloom is compliments of my dog, Max, who has been chewing on them whenever he goes past.)* * * * *

wearing my hearts on my leaves for you,

Nice! The only thing I don't love about Morning Glories is that they, like Rose of Sharon, don't bloom until late July. It's a reminder that summer is going by way too quickly. Once I get past that, I love their starry centers and cheerful greeting to each day.
How very pretty! That's so funny that Max nips at them each times he passes!
Diana, yes, I wish they would bloom earlier too, but I really do enjoy how they have new flowers each day that they do bloom. :)
Mildred, Max seems to think those plants are there just for him (like everything else around here that he assumes is just for him! HA!) :D

Hello Life Is good! Some might think of morning glory as a weed--I'm not sure. Maybe because it is a vine and will take over other plants it is nearby sometimes, people think of it as a weed, but I've always loved the flowers on it. Have a great day! :)

What a pretty bloom! I have always loved morning glories, even though people do think of them as weeds. Oh, and you know I love your poetry! If you ever publish, I want to buy a signed first edition!
